Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L)

liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L,) is very rarely used in Indonesia, because it is difficult cultivated in the tropics. Part that is often used as a medicine is part of the dried plant roots or taken the oil content. Expectorants can be used as a crude drug, anti-inflammatory, and spasmolitik.

Composition:
Glisirhisin, saponins, glycosides likuiritin, asparagin, umbeliferona, glabrolida, glucose, sucrose, likuiritat acid, hidroksiglisirhitat sour, bitter substances, essential oils, and asparagin.
