Corn - Zea mays L. is a plant belonging to the families: Poaceae (Gramineae).

Grow upright, more or less 1.5 meters high. Stem rounded, not forked, yellow or orange color. Single leaf, oval, pointed tip, flat edge, length of 35-100 cm, 3-12 cm wide, green color. Compound interest, male and female flowers form of grains. Cob-shaped fruit, 8-20 cm long, yellowish green color.

Composition:

Hair of the corn - Zea mays L.: Saponin, tannic substances, flavones, essential oils, fatty oils, alantoin, and bitter substances. Flowers: stigmasterol.
