"Physical exercise does not compensate for the time you sit down," says Harmony R. Reynolds, MD, associate director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Center at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York.
The reason, the lack of motion can affect the levels of fat and sugar. Dr. Reynolds suggested walk around periodically. And, when you're at work, stand up when receiving phone calls from someone.
"Tends to bring stress harbored grave danger. Studies have shown the benefits of laughter and social support," said Dr. Reynolds. "Therefore, tell the person you are rather than internalize related issues."
More than 18 million Americans suffer from sleep apnea which can increase the risk of heart disease. People who are overweight or obese are at risk of the disorder -order. If you snore and frequently wake up feeling tired, talk with your doctor.
